This is the sort of house that has so much appeal you can easily imagine it being featured on the cover of any number of magazines, architectural or otherwise. And it wouldn’t be a surprise for the date of the magazine to be 1957, 1987, or 2019. It’s just that beautiful.  And, indeed, it has been featured in many publications as well as TV shows.

 From both afar and up close, all of the design is stunning. The glass walls and stonework of this entry are sublime. Even the smaller details, such as color choices, lighting fixtures, and the plants contribute to the overall composition.

 Built in 1957 for the Frank Family, (co-founder, with Walter Van de Kamp of Lawry’s Restaurant and foods), it remained in the family for 41 years. Not a surprise, really. I mean, there’s not much reason to move out of a home like this.
