While the charming commercial strip of Larchmont Boulevard between Beverly and 1st will likely never suffer a shortage of foot traffic, the north end of Larchmont has been steadily transforming itself into an equally desirable destination with the addition of one quality business after another, the most recent of which is “Coffee + Food”.

Given its name, there is no mistaking what they’re serving here. Though to be more accurate it might instead be called “Coffee + Fresh, Delicious Food”. Their salads and sandwiches are made from local farmers market ingredients, and they’re pre-wrap

If you’re the type of person that roots for the little guy (or, in this case, gals) and likes to support small businesses, then that’s one more great reason to visit. This is the first restaurant opened by co-owners Cyndi Finkle and Mel Cain. But Cyndi is not at all new to food. She also owns Sunday Night Dinner, a craft services business and is also the owner of the Art Works Studio & Classroom next door, another Larchmont favorite. Evidence of her artistic side hangs from the ceiling in the form of a sculpture made of 6500+ coffee stirrers (seen in previous photo above).

Everything is as yummy as it looks.

The old-school Pavoni espresso maker and mixer on the shelf lend to the air of home-made goodness here.
